WILI’S WAYNE NORMAN HONORED BY WINDHAM HIGH SCHOOL
WILI morning show host Wayne Norman was honored during a live broadcast from Windham High School on November 18, 2009. During WILI’s annual “On The Town” broadcast at WHS during American Education Week, Wayne interviewed Windham students, staff, and faculty. As Wayne was getting ready to interview principal Gene Blain, about a dozen students, staff and faculty converged on the room as Blain read a proclamation and presented Wayne with a bag of Windham High gear, including two shirts and a blanket. Then Windham Players president Zoe Allard read from a framed statement from the Windham Players. Wayne was taken totally off-guard and was not expecting these tributes.
